This page displays some photos of the ram air intake. It shows the conduit the air would travel through to get to the engine: beginning with the entry point at the front grille.




The air entry point through the grille is shown in the photo on the right (it's the lower slot - with the screen).

(Also notice that the grille and bumper pieces are in very nice condition).

Inside the left-front wheel well.

The screen shown in the previous photo is inside the box on the lower left.

Fresh air for the cabin passes through the hose on the upper-left.

Screened fresh air for the carburettors passes through the front-most hose towards the air filter.

Continuing up towards the air filter, the hose is secured to the inside of the wheel well to ensure it doesn't contact the suspension.                   

The photo at right shows the hose passing through the wheel well in to the engine compartment and directly into the K&N air cleaner.

At the bottom right, you can also see the exhaust headers (diagonal, brown pipes) passing in front of the heatshield for the brake cylinder.
